Part 2

Mandela joined the D.O.( Donaldson Orlando Community Centre) gym in 1950, he often took his oldest son 10-year-old Thembi, with him. Nelson Mandela never did any fighting after he entered politics. He's main interest in boxing was the training, he found the training a way of releasing tension and stress. While he was imprisoned in a small cell on Robbern island he was able to maintain a physical-fitness routine.

Part 1

Nelson Mandela was a heavy-weight boxer and trained along side professional boxers in Johannesburg. He did not enjoy the violence of boxing,but he was interested in the way someone moves his body to protect himself and how he uses a strategy both to attack and retreat. He was also interested  at how someone paces himself over a match.

Nelson Mandela mainly focused on truth and Reconcilation process national reconciliation which investigated human rights violations under apartheid, and he introduced housing, education, and economic development designed to improve the living standards of the country’s black population. Mandela worked to make sure that South Africa's white population was protected and represented in "the rainbow nation". He also worked on protecting South Africa's economy from collapse.

Part 1

 
On the 10 May 1994, Nelson Mandela became the first ever black president of South Africa. He was the first ever democratically elected president of South Africa. A billion people world wide watched this historical moment. The inauguration took place in Pretoria in front of 4000 guests. The inauguaration, they elected de Klerk as the first deputy and Thabo Mbeki as the second. He and his deputy  helped the country end the arpartheid system.
